Biography

Inner Quest was formed in Palermo on 2003 by the drummer Riccardo Barbiera,the bassist Marcello Butera, the guitarist Giuseppe Di sparti and Alberto Butera Marcello’s brotheron keyboard.

The four guys began to prepare their narrow ..but one thing missed.. the voice. At the end of 2004 come into the band the singer: Dario Caminita. In summer 2005 Marcello Butera and his brohter Alberto Butera had to leave the group, for personal reasons.

This was a very bad moment in the group so, the founders of the group Riccardo Barbiera and Giuseppe Di Sparti decided that was time to change line-up.

On jenuary 2006 joined the group, thanks also to friendship with Riccardo Barbiera, Giuseppe Carrubba (keyboard) and Emanuele Carrubba (bass). Two new guys apport their experience and new ideas inside the group, so inner quest now is a band that makes instrumental metal music influenced by progressive metal, thrash, power, classical.

Soon new line-up start a new era by making shows where the odience seem to value the musicians and the good music.

In November 2007 the band wins the contest “Rassegna metal”.

The band is finalist in “Sicilia Crush test”, a local competition between over 60 bands.

In february 2008, Inner Quest released their first cd: “Inner Quest EP”.In April 2009 Inner Quest releases, with New LM Records, their first album: Endless Illusion.
